Umm Al Quwain

Umm Al Quwain is the UAE Emirate with the smallest population: Only about 62 thousand people reside in it. Its area, however, is 750 square kilometers big. This means that Umm Al Quwain has a rather small population density. This fact makes it attractive for everyone who wishes to live in the United Arab Emirates, but who wants to avoid such mega-centers like Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Umm Al Quwain's vegetation is quite varied: On the coast it has lush mangrove forests, but further inland there is desert land with rolling sand dunes - and then comes the mysterious oasis town of Falaj Al Moalla.
