Real Estate Market in Dubai

Dubai Poetry:-)))

To be honest, I am a bit of a poet. Or rather, I used to be. But Dubai brings it out again.

Indeed, so it does. Dubai has given me feelings that I had never known even existed. And it makes me ponder – I think it turns me into a philosopher.

When I was a child, and I was born in the 70s, all this wasn’t here, or rather just a tiny part of it. Dubai had always been nothing more than a small Arabic fishing village, where they, mind you, neither had McDonald’s NOR Burger King and no KFC either, and then, still in the late 70s, it still wasn’t much more than that little village. Today Dubai is LIKE HUGE!!!! And ninety per cent of this, or more, was built after my birth, although that wasn’t very long ago, by the standards of history. Here in Dubai I see steel and glass and concrete reaching from one horizon to the next, and I’m like: “OMG! I am older than all this.” This dramatically changes my outlook on life. It used to be like this that I found myself thrown into an already existing world, which I then became a part of. So the world was there FIRST and then I came. Here in Dubai it is the other way around: I was here, in this world, and then they added Dubai to it, so it came second, after me, for me it is eternally new, although it is an incredible world in itself. I don’t know if I’m making any sense. Can you relate to this at all?

Dubai, You Metrop’lis of Modern Times

O Rome of Glob’lization

Younger than the Beatles’ Rhymes

Just Computer Animation?

For Millennia only Desert,

Now a Theme Park bigger than Chicago

But also real, so real!

No Fake are You, You Breathe!

Dubai’s no Computer Graphic

It’s a Dream built in Sweat out of Steel

This Child is a Giant

Imagine Him as a Grown-up.
